ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Ange McMaster and I am a photographer. Based in the North West of New South Wales on a property near the small country town of North Star with my husband and four children. My love of all things photographic started many years ago following a very personal tragedy. I have always had an interest in travel and growing up I wanted to work for National Geographic.

 

However, I decided on a different path and became a qualified Early Childhood Educator and have worked with mobile pre-schools around rural communities. I capture the raw and honest stuff in a style unique to me. Taking photos allows me to combine two of my passions, creating beautiful images and meeting new and interesting people. I look for my images to tell a story with an honest connection whether its in a cotton paddock or at the picnic races.

 

My camera of choice is a Canon 5D Mark IV and use a Sigma lens 24-70mm. The unique and diverse rural Australian landscape allows me the opportunities to capture authentic images and tell a story rather than just taking a photo.
